^The Beast and the Bethany by Jack Meggitt-Phillips 5 stars A stubborn and rude kid gets adopted by a stubborn and rude adult and by the end of the book makes each other just a little bit better while teaming up against a beast.

^Beasts and Beauty: Dangerous Tales by Soman Chainani 5 Stars Peter Pan, Hansel and Gretel, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel were my favorites

*The Monsters of Rookhaven by Pádraig Kenny 5 stars Really good book it gives off ‘What Big Teeth’ by Rose Szabo but for a slightly younger audience.

^If I disappear by Eliza Jane Brazier 2 Stars A lot of this book is just the main character Sera repeating that Rachel brought her there. I.e, by being her friend and that the podcast was their way of communicating even though she went full-on stalker mode on the podcast and Rachel’s social media just to get to the farm.

*Call Down The Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater 3 stars Honestly, I didn’t like the first 3/4s of the book. That was until Ronan and Hennessy leave with Bryde; from there, the book gets way better, plus all of the chaos really starts to happen.

*The Wolf And The Woodsman by Ava Reid 5 stars 10/10 and bonus points for Évike still being her own person at the end.

*Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix 3 stars Good, but the repetitive parts got boring.

*The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller 4 stars I like that thorough out the book, the characters assess how they feel about each other and how it’s done. Plus the drama at the end was interesting.

^Hocus Pocus by A. W. Jantha 3 stars This was good. Being set in the future, I thought they were going to change everything, but, I’m glad they didn’t. Having technology play a big part in this story was a great idea, and to me, this book is completely separate from the movie.
