^The Beast and the Bethany by Jack Meggitt-Phillips 5 stars A stubborn and rude kid gets adopted by a stubborn and rude adult and by the end of the book makes each other just a little bit better while teaming up against a beast.

^Beasts and Beauty: Dangerous Tales by Soman Chainani 5 Stars Peter Pan, Hansel and Gretel, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel were my favorites

*The Monsters of Rookhaven by Pádraig Kenny 5 stars Really good book it gives off ‘What Big Teeth’ by Rose Szabo but for a slightly younger audience.

^If I disappear by Eliza Jane Brazier 2 Stars A lot of this book is just the main character Sera repeating that Rachel brought her there. I.e, by being her friend and that the podcast was their way of communicating even though she went full-on stalker mode on the podcast and Rachel’s social media just to get to the farm.

*Call Down The Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater 3 stars Honestly, I didn’t like the first 3/4s of the book. That was until Ronan and Hennessy leave with Bryde; from there, the book gets way better, plus all of the chaos really starts to happen.

*The Wolf And The Woodsman by Ava Reid 5 stars 10/10 and bonus points for Évike still being her own person at the end.

*Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix 3 stars Good, but the repetitive parts got boring.

*The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller 4 stars I like that thorough out the book, the characters assess how they feel about each other and how it’s done. Plus the drama at the end was interesting.

^Hocus Pocus by A. W. Jantha 3 stars This was good. Being set in the future, I thought they were going to change everything, but, I’m glad they didn’t. Having technology play a big part in this story was a great idea, and to me, this book is completely separate from the movie.

*the strange case of the alchemists daughter by Theodora Goss 4 stars A little boring in places but, the overall story makes up for it. Great re-telling of classics can’t wait to read the rest.

*the taking of Jake Livingston by Ryan Douglass 5 stars I loved this book, even if I had to stop reading it sometimes during the more hardcore parts.

^lost in the never woods by Aiden thomas 5 stars Gut-wrenching at the end but a super good book

*furyborn by Claire Legrand 3 stars While reading this, I forgot how this started so, when that topic came up again, I was a little confused but, other than that, the book was good.

*super fake love song by David Yoon 4 stars An awkward but cute love story.

*the inheritance games by Jennifer lynn barnes 4 stars I liked the mysteries plus how everything is tied together.

^the gilded ones by namina forna 5 stars SO GOOD!! I’m glad Deka found people that like her for her (SPOILER) the fact that they were killing their own blood was horrible.

*history is all you left me by adam silvera 4 stars Good sad I cried at least twice.

*Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe by benjamin alire sáenz 4 stars Super cute (until the sad part but it gets good again) love story.

^sweet and bitter magic by adrienne tooley 5 stars Disliked the dad in the beginning but, he’s not that bad after all. I loved both of the main characters glad they found each other and have a place in the witch community.

*roses and rot by kat howard 2 stars Not going to lie I, forgot everything other than fairies were in this.
